Does Marquis Awards offer products other than those shown on this site?

You BET we do! Marquis offers a full line of stock and custom award products including pins, medals, ribbons, rosettes, patches, chenille, silverplate holloware, crystal, tiaras, certificates, and banners just to name a few. Thousands of promotional products are available to you through Marquis Awards and range from printed keytags to customized hot air balloons. We can put your name on any space (and product)!

 

What is considered camera ready artwork?

Camera-ready, color-separated artwork is required for all printing. Camera ready art is clean, sharp artwork printed in black on high quality white paper with a minimum of 600 dpi. Be sure to include crop marks on all color separations. Some printing processes allow halftones and some do not. You will need to call customer service to find out for sure. FAXED artwork is not camera-ready and can be used only for estimating costs. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT OF FINAL APPROVAL OF CAMERA-READY ARTWORK. Artwork can be sent via e-mail or on a disc. Send in the following formats, CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator in PC format. Convert all text to curves and FAX or mail a hard copy.

Will you do artwork for me?

Yes! If artwork is unavailable, submit a sketch and our graphics department will quote the artwork needed. We also have a large library of stock art that may be used. Marquis Awards has a complete art capabilities and is happy to work with you on designing and preparing your camera ready art.

 

Who has permission to use specific logos?

Marquis Awards assumes that when artwork has been submitted for reproduction, this artwork is submitted in full compliance with the laws governing copyright, trademarks, etc. Purchaser, by placing an order, agrees to hold Marquis Awards harmless for any damage, cost and/or expense arising under these laws as a consequence of our use of said artwork.

 

Do you offer volume discounts?

If quantity discounts are not stated and your order is over $300.00, excluding freight, call for quantity pricing.

What is your policy on freight charges?

Shipments are FOB factory. Most award items are shipped from WY. A $2.00 handling fee is added per box. Other items may have different points of origin and different factory handling fees. All shipments are fully insured. All damage claims must be made directly with the carrier.

Prices in shopping cart DO NOT reflect freight charges. Any additional charges will be communicated to you prior to beginning production of your order.

FREE FREIGHT: Prepaid award orders only over $200.00 will receive FREE SHIPPING via UPS ground to any location within the continental United States. (Wholesale accounts excluded).

 

Does Marquis Awards offer any kind of guarantee?

Your 100% satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed. Every product or service you purchase from Marquis Awards & Specialties, Inc. is guaranteed to meet with your satisfaction or we’ll refund your money or replace the product, whichever you prefer. No questions asked. All returns must be pre-authorized.

What are your business hours?

Can I put my custom logo on an award?

Custom logos can be printed or engraved on any plaque or trophy in a variety of ways depending on the medium and look desired. Click here for logo pricing.

 

Does your company have a minimum order amount?

Minimum invoice is only  $10.00 excluding freight and sales tax.

 

Are orders acknowledged?

All orders will be acknowledged by either FAX, email, or snail mail.

Does Marquis Awards offer signage and other products that can be used outdoors?

Many options exist for products that can be used outdoors. These include engraved plastic signs, roto cut wood signage, vinyl cut banners and signs, magnetic vehicle signs, cast bronze and aluminum plaques, metalphoto plates, stone, and durable Novalloy signage.

 

What are over/underruns?

Most factories will produce more pieces than an order calls for as a means of quality control. All promotional items are subject to a maximum of 10% over/underruns and will be billed pro-rata. Some factories will ship exact order quantities for an additional charge. Award items are shipped and billed at exact quantities unless otherwise specified.

 

Will I be able to see what my artwork is going to look like before it is printed on a product?

A paper proof is required for all original imprinted orders. Customers are billed for any factory proof charges. Pre-production sample proofs are available for a charge for most items and are mandatory on many large orders. Call for proof cost information on specific products.

How long will it take for my order to be finished?

Normal production time for most award items is 3-5 working days. Production time for printed promotional products will vary between factories and products. Most promotional products can be produced within 10-15 working days, beginning on the date our factory receives camera-ready artwork or a signed customer proof. Be sure to allow additional time for shipping. Please call or fax in your request for production time on specific products.

 

What are "Industry Standards" for promotional products?

Slight variations and imperfections in certain promotional products, such as glass and ceramics, are not considered flaws and are acceptable within industry standards. On some products, printing of multi-color artwork requiring less than 1/16" color registration may be a concern and will be examined on a case by case basis.

Can your company do rush orders for awards?

We Love Rush Orders! 24 and 48-Hour Rocket Service is available on those select award items featuring the "24-Hour Rocket Service" symbol. To qualify, your order must be received no later than noon, MST for shipment the following business day.

 Sorry, new custom logos do not qualify for 24 or 48 hour service. 

Your order is required to be shipped by UPS next day air,  2nd day air, or 3-Day Select. 

All award rush orders must specify Rocket Service and
all orders are subject to pre-approval by Marquis Awards. Please call customer service at 1-800-327-2446, do not rely on your fax or email being seen immediately.

Rush service is also available for many other items based on availability. We will make every attempt to meet your deadline. For scheduling purposes, we must be notified at the time an order is placed that it requires rush service. We cannot be held responsible for freight carrier delays. Please contact us directly for more information on rush service for specific products.

 

Can your company do rush orders for Promotional Products?

Rush orders are available on many promotional products. We offer a variety of promotional products with both 24 hour as well as 3 day production.(link to rush service-promotional products). What are your company’s payment terms?

New orders and orders without approved credit require prepayment. Open order accounts must have an approved credit application on file with Marquis Awards. Government agencies will be extended credit when a signed PO accompanies the order. Payments made by check, money-order or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) are acceptable, Late accounts are charged 21% APR and put on COD or pre-payment status. Custom imprinted promotional products require a minimum of 50% deposit.
