Metal Cast Bronze and Aluminum Plaques
The primary function of a cast plaque is to identify, dedicate, commemorate, or recognize people, events, places or deeds. Cast Bronze is a very durable method of producing memorial
markers. The process of casting has been around for thousands of years. The
letters and/or artwork are raised with the background recessed approximately
¼". Cast Aluminum has the same characteristics as bronze except bronze has the bronze color and the aluminum plaques are a dull silver color. Cast Aluminum, although very durable, is not as hard as bronze. Cast Aluminum is generally only used if the silver color is desired to match a decor, or the plaque is very large and cost is a consideration.
